Renault 21 Nevada TXE help please!

Hola!

I come from Europa, Slovenia, where we have Revoz Renault factory. We have done a lot of Renaults throe the years, like R4, R5, Clio 1, twingo... And now the new Renault Twingo 2.

So, Renault is in my blood, i love them since i was a child. But there is not a lot of peoples who could help me with my oldtimers. I own 10 cars, like this 21 Nevada, R20 1976, R15 1978, Fuego turbo 1985, Safrane Biturbo 1994.. Everione says im crazy  :D .

Ok, now i need some help with my Nevada. I have digital dashboard, witch is not working. Since i have the car, it was on about 5 times. It works for some time, and then it doesnt.. What could be wrong?

I hope it is ok to write in English, i dont know another way to comunicate. And you are the only club for the 21 cars i can found...

Hi! and welcome!!

Unfortunately, here in Argentina we don't have many 21's with the digital cluster like the one of yours, only a French few imported by its owners, so we don't have much information about them.

Have you checked the PCB for cut traces or blown components? Maybe there's a false contact in the PCB or the connectors. I'd clean with contact cleaner (Isopropyl Alcohol) first, and then start checking with a multimeter.

lo que dice el pibe este es que necesita ayuda con la nevada que tiene y como vive lejos no puede concurrir a los encuentros y menos ir al taller de tuerca...jajaja
