Hi Jo, welcome to the club. What a really nice ride you have!!!. Here in Argentina we don´t have any 21 turbo sold by Renault Argentina. Our biggest official version of the 21 sold here was the RTi, with a 2.2i engine, and a top speed over 210 Km/h. Into the General subforum you´ll find pictures of our Alizé, GTX, TXE, GTI, TXI and RTi 21´s, along the nevada versions.

Nuestra versi?n oficial mas grande del 21 vendida fué la RTi, con un motor 2.2i, y una velocidad m?xima de mas de 210 Km/h. muy buenas las fotos y el video en el dinamometro - Que cilindrada tienen lo turbos? la tapa de cilindros es igual al TXI argentino y considero que el motor debe levantar muchas mas RPM y ser de carrera mas corta por el corte de los pistones para el paso de la biela - Un saludo

its real easy to make a turbo conversion from the 2.2 engine. I'm building one myself. You need a 2.2 bottom end from safrane/R25/R21, enginecode : J7T 732 and the cilinderhead from a R21T (8v) J7R.

The liners are custom and made in the united states, steel and realy strong. The pistons are from JE-pistons. You can use the crank and rods from the J7T. Manifolds and managment (ecu) can be used from the 21 turbo

This concept can be used with a garret GT2871R turbo and makes 350 bhp / 500Nm torque.

Gracias, mi motor es por encargo dise?ado por me. La idea vino del europacup R21, pero la mina produjo m?s energ?a y esfuerzo de torsi?n. Puedo dar una lista de la especificaci?n del compleet si usted desea.

Wow!!! 350Bhp for an 2.2 engine it´s really an achievement!!! Did you also modify your clutch and gearbox to support such torque? I saw the last pictures and it seems you have invested a lot in brand new parts.

Es realmente sencillo realizar una conversion a turbo desde el motor 2.2. Yo estoy construyendo el m?o. Necesit?s un  block 2.2 de un safrane/R25/R21, C?digo de motor J7T 732 y una tapa de cilindros de R21T (8v) J7R.

Las camisas son hechas a medida en los estados unidos, en acero y son realmente muy resistentes. Los pistones son de JE-pistons. Podés usar el cigue?al y las bielas del J7T. Los m?ltiples y la administraci?n (ECU) pueden ser del 21 turbo.

Este concepto puede ser usado con un turbo Garret GT2871R y rendir 350 bhp (en banco y sin accesorios, medido en el volante) / y 500 Newton/metro de torque.

Y yo le respond?...

Wow!!! 350hp para un motor 2.2 es realmente un logro!!! Modificaste también el embrague y la caja para soportar tanto torque?. Vi las ?ltimas fotos y parece que invertiste bastante en partes nuevas.

350 bhp is a absolute minimum, as you can see on the movie from the dyno: my 2.0-8v is doing 327 bhp/441Nm and that is with only 386cc injectors and small garret GT28RS turbo with .63A/R

Next step on the 2.0 l will be 575cc siemens deka injectors and garret GT2871R turbo with .86A/R. When that is done i'll post the next movie from the dyno.

My gearbox has standard ratio's butt with LSD (limited slip diff.) from quaiffe and my clutch is a AP racing 6 paddle.

My new breaks are also AP racing (from Ph1 ClioV6), 4pot calipers with 330x30 disc. Standard 21T brakemastercilinder.

no soy un proffesional. No tengo ning?n buisiness mis el propio. Qué hago con los coches es justo una pasi?n. Del motor construyo no los excists, su todo por encargo.

I could definitely spend days looking at your 6 R21T ... amazing... here we don't have 21t, so for us is quite amazing....

great job you've done with that engine.... what's your top speed? and max acceleration? (0/100  /sec)
do u go to races? or do u just love the POWERRR? hehehe
